This painting is a favorite of my grandson although it took me over a month to finish this painting it was inspired by a real chocolate colored buck I was hunting for on Hickory Creek Game Management, near the Red River in Oklahoma.

This painting was truly inspired by a turkey hunting trip with my father on Hickory Creek Game Management. This painting was finished in just hours and depicts a real, early spring morning sunrise in Oklahoma.

This painting is not inspired by any thing special. Members of my family insisted that I include this work in the catalog. This was my 1st completed flower project.

This painting was very difficult for me. It was to be a gift to my mother. Roses were her favorite flower, but she pasted-away before it was finished. It took me four years to finish it after her death. This painting is in dedication to my mother Vera Bowman.

This painting was inspired by the red hibiscus, growing in my on flower bed. I first planted white, the next year I planted red, and the next year the pink ones appeared. It was my pleasent surprise to learn that hibiscus plants cross pollinate..

This painting is inspired by a turkey hunting trip to Hickory Creek Game Management. In the early spring the trees are just budding. The only green are the cedars and the sunsets are beautiful. If you use your imagination you may find a turkey fling up to roost.
