She is presently pursuing the print market to increase her recognition in the art world.
On a Monday morning in, Oct. 1975 Donna J. Hudson started her first painting . With no experience in painting she purchased some small canvas boards and painted three paintings of a horse using acrylic paint. Acrylic paint was inexpensive and easy to clean-up. Her family and friends were very impressed with her paintings and insured her to continue. She gave many of her first paintings away as gifts to family and friends. With encouragement from her husband, she eventually changed to oils and took some painting classes. She joined the local art gulid, were she found encouragement from other artists. She subscribed to The Artist Magazine, were she found many helpful articles. In 1998 Donna self published one of her paintings and offered her first prints for sale.
